summit.mlpt.com
Project Type: Event Website + Custom CEU Classroom
Platform: WordPress (Subdomain Build)
Overview:
Mountain Land Physical Therapy launched a new event called the Pelvic Health Summit and needed a website that would present the conference professionally while making information easy to access. The site had to showcase the speakers, share the agenda, provide sponsor details, and handle logistics like accommodations. On top of that, the summit required a system for physical therapists to verify their attendance for CEU credits.
What I Did:
I built the event website on a WordPress subdomain (summit.mlpt.com), designed to align with the summit’s branding while staying consistent with Mountain Land’s overall identity. The site included speaker bios, accolades, and archives of past presenters to boost credibility. It also housed the full agenda, accommodation details, and sponsor recognition.
The biggest innovation was the creation of a CEU Classroom within the website itself. Instead of paying for an expensive LMS platform, I developed a system where attendees received a daily access code after each lecture, which they could then enter to verify attendance. The classroom also hosted downloadable lecture notes, replacing the outdated process of waiting in line for paper forms.
Results:
The CEU Classroom solution streamlined the verification process, saving time for both attendees and organizers. It was such a success that Mountain Land adopted the same system for its Running Summit. Alongside this, I helped improve the look and feel of that event’s site as well. Overall, the project not only delivered a professional, user-friendly event website but also provided a cost-effective and scalable solution for CEU tracking.
